The challenge
Floxy makes FLOXIFIED pieces, garments reworked and reconstructed into the label's own design language, most of them one of one. That makes the stock unusually unforgiving: every piece exists in a single size, in a single quantity, and once it's gone it's gone. Orders were arriving from three completely separate places at once; face to face at pop-ups and studio appointments, through the online store, and through Instagram and TikTok DMs. Each channel had its own record, none of them talked to each other, and reconciling them was a manual job at the end of every day. A piece sold at a market could still be sitting live online hours later, and DM orders lived as payment screenshots buried in message threads. The admin was quietly eating the time that should have gone into making the next drop.
What we built
- 01
One view for every order
In-person sales, online store orders and DM orders now land in a single list with the same fields: customer, piece, price, payment status and fulfilment stage. The end-of-day reconciliation that used to mean cross-checking three places is now one screen.
- 02
Stock that stays honest across channels
Because most pieces are one of one, selling anywhere marks the piece as gone everywhere. A sale at a pop-up closes it off online immediately, which removed the risk of taking money for something already on someone else's back.
- 03
DM orders that become real orders
A message enquiry is captured as a proper order record with the piece, size, price, shipping address and a payment link attached. No more screenshots of bank transfers scrolled back through to work out who paid for what.
- 04
Selling in person without the paperwork
Pop-ups, markets and studio appointments get a fast way to log a sale on the spot, which drops straight into the same order list as everything else. Cash and card sales stop being a notebook problem.
- 05
The website itself
We designed and built floxyirl.com as the label's home: the FLOXIFIED and ready-to-wear collections, individual product pages for numbered one-of-one pieces with their rise and sizing options, cart and checkout, and a mobile-first layout, since almost every visitor arrives from a phone.
- 06
A repeatable drop process
Launching a new batch follows the same path every time: pieces get numbered, photographed to a consistent naming convention, loaded with the right collection and stock settings, and published together. A drop goes live in one sitting instead of over an evening of fiddling.
- 07
Fulfilment from one queue
Packing, labels and tracking updates work off a single list regardless of where the order originated, so a DM customer gets the same confirmation and tracking experience as someone who checked out online.
- 08
Sign-ups captured on site
The INNER SEAM mailing list sign-up is built into the storefront so the audience being gathered at every drop belongs to Floxy, not to a social platform.
